Since 1996, you’ve helped make Petfinder what it is – the most successful tool in helping adoptable pets find their families. This year, we celebrate 20 years of facilitating pet adoptions and the more than 25 million pets you’ve helped to find forever homes through Petfinder.

On August 29, we’re launching the #MetOnPetfinder anniversary celebration, the cornerstone of which is a video that shows how adoptable pets have transformed the lives of their adopters. We’ve set a big goal for this video. We’re asking pet parents, pet lovers and pet advocates to watch the #MetOnPetfinder video and help us reach one million views
by Oct. 24. If we reach the one million view goal, Petfinder will donate $200,000 benefiting 20 shelter and rescue members, each receiving a $10,000 grant from the Petfinder Foundation. These grants will help the 20 selected shelter and rescue members continue to transform the lives of pets in their care, as well as cultivate more lifelong relationships.
