Below is a list of technical issues currently impacting some Petfinder members and your pets. We assure you each item is being worked on and if you find any additional problems, please let us know.
Pet Search and Profiles
Petfinder pet searches and individual pet profiles are impacted by technical issues. Pages on Petfinder are occasionally not loading properly. The captcha on the “Adopt Me” email form is not resetting upon an incorrect submission. While this is being repaired, clicking the “request a new challenge” button on the captcha may help. Some email messages sent through forms on homepages using the simple set option are being sent to an incorrect email address. The saved search feature is also currently experiencing technical issues, email notifications are not being sent and some existing saved searches are not functioning properly. We are working quickly to enhance our pet search and pet profile posting process.
Pet Lists and Home Pages
Petfinder Pet Lists (your organization’s list of adoptable pets) are experiencing issues. Some Petfinder homepages using simple set-up are not displaying adoptable pets and some simple-set up pet list links are incorrectly giving an error message. We are currently working to resolve these issues as quickly as possible.
Pet List Scroller and Pet List Printer
The Pet List Scroller is not displaying the ‘no kids’ icon and the “no photo” image is not appearing. Additionally, the Pet List Printer is not including group contact information. We are committed to providing increased visibility for your available pets and are working quickly to resolve these issues.
Admin System and Logins
Upon requesting a new account password, some password emails are not being received. If you are having trouble logging in, please contact us and we will happy to assist you with your account.
